Earlier this year, Dr. Sara Ramirez joined our team in Central Kalimantan for 12 days of training in the forest. We focused on giving our local staff the right tools, tech, and confidence to guard KM 52 independently.

This year, Yayasan Usaha Mulia — YUM to everyone who knows and loves it — is celebrating 50 years of quietly, persistently doing good. Here's a quick look back at how it all unfolded.

Recently, the Main Hall at YUM Cipanas transformed into a vibrant hub of celebration for the Pentas Seni dan Pelepasan Siswa PAUD YUM (YUM Preschool Arts Performance and Graduation).

True education often happens outside the traditional classroom. This April, the air at YUM Cipanas has been filled with an extra spark of energy as we welcomed students from Al Jabr Islamic School for a multi-day Educamp.

Laughter filled the hall before the music even started. Old friends spotted each other across the room and waved. Chairs were pulled closer together so conversations could begin.
