In July 2009, YUM was fortunate to receive three new AYAD Volunteers. The Volunteers are sharing their expertise with YUM's local staff on a range of projects over 12 months.
In June 2009, YUM welcomed the arrival of a young volunteer named Lisette Phelan who came all the way from Ireland to assist the Children's Village.
In October Lucy finished her 12month volunteer assignment. Lucy used her health expertise to help educate YUM staff and local health professionals about health promotion practices.
In November 2009, YUM's Head Office welcomed the arrival of Wawan Setiawan as the new Executive Director. Pak Wawan has been a valuable YUM staff member since 2005 as Project Manager in Aceh.
